Learning to sail from the beach. Understanding the wind, equipment, sailing terms, confidence building.

 Age 8 – 13  

 Cadet Crew

Learning to handle spinnaker, communication, confidence, racing introduction, improvement through to expert crew, preparation for helming.

 Age 11 – 16

 Cadet Helm

Learning to helm, Learning to race, boat preparation, confidence, boat speed, starting, open meetings if appropriate and preparation for next step.

 Age 14 – 18

 Laser 4.7

Single handed option for youths with at least 6 days Cadet helming experience. Learn to race, confidence, boat speed and starting.
